Posting Instructions for Sarasota MLS

 

Step 1: Click on the “Listing Control Panel” link you received via e-mail.  Once at the site, scroll down and highlight the “Non-Branded Virtual Tour” link by using your left mouse button and selecting all of the text (it will be highlighted with another color at this point).  

PLEASE NOTE:  You must post the Non-Branded link in the MLS otherwise the Realtor board will fine you!!

Step 2. Now right click on this highlighted text and select Copy.
Step 3. Open your internet browser and log on to MLS with your ID and password.
Step 4. Left click once on Back Office and select Listing Load from the drop down menu.
Step 5. Highlight your current listing to update and select Add Virtual Tour.
Step 6. Right click once in the box provided for a virtual tour and select Paste.
Step 7. Remove the http:// from the text you just pasted (should now start with www).
Step 8. Now click on the Save button.
You are done!

 

Text Updates For Listing Flyers

Step 1: Click on the “Listing Control Panel” link you received via e-mail.  This will take you to the control panel for the virtual tour. 

Step 2: Click on "Click here to edit this information" in the Tour Details area right below your contact info.  This will take you to a login page.  Your user ID is your email address and your password is the word “password”. 

Step 3: Once you login, you will brought to the first page of the edit listing area……UNLESS we have shot more than one tour for you.  If we have shot multiple tours for you see Step 3a below.  Disregard 3a if this is your 1st virtual tour with us.

Step 3a:  If we have shot multiple tours for you, you will be brought to the “User Profile” page.  You can update your profile information if you would like.  You do not need to update this if you don’t wish to.  From here, click onMy Listings.”  This will bring you to a page that lists all of your virtual tours.  Click on “Edit” next to the tour you wish to create the flyer for.  This will bring you to the first page of the edit listing area. 

Step 4:  You are now at the 1st page of the edit listing area.  You do not need to update any information on this first page if you don't wish to.  In order to update the text on the listing flyers, click on the "Update and go to Next Step" button located in the lower right portion of the screen (even if you didn't update anything). 

Step 5: You are now at the 2nd page of the edit listing area.  Type whatever you would like to appear in the listing flyer in the box titled "Description."  Once you have typed in your description, you can choose to check any of the boxes listed in the features, inclusions, and amenities sections.  Please note that you do not need click on any if you don't wish to.  They will not show up on the flyer even if you do. 

Step 6: Once you are done typing in your description and checking any relevant boxes, click on the "Update and go to Next Step" button located in the lower right portion of the screen.

Step 7: Once again.....you do not need to make any changes here if you don't wish to.  If you don't change anything then click on the "Finish Updating" button in the lower right (scroll all the way down).  Please note that if you delete any pictures on this page they will be gone for good!!  You will be able to do this same exercise for all of your listings if you choose to. 

Step 8: The descriptions that you typed in will automatically flow through to the 6 different listing flyer templates.  My parent company is in the process of changing one of flyer templates to include your banner at the top.  The flyers can be accessed and printed by clicking on the Branded Tour Link, then click on the Additional Tools tab in the lower right, and then click on Print Flyer in the upper left.  You will see 6 different flyer templates to choose from.  You can open them up to see which one you prefer.  Once you find the one you like, hit the print key and you will be all set!
